The Road Less Traveled

As I reflected over my blog posts, I realized that I mainly highlighted foreign countries. However, the U.S. has its own gems that deserve recognition as well. This is more of a nostalgic blog post.

My Happy Place... California has it’s sole blog entry, so no need to redundantly mention it again. Florida is my native land. There’s a little gem in Williston (my grandfathers hometown) where a natural under water spring gives the most amazing feels. The beaches are my favorite pastime in any city.

Whether New York is visited for business or leisure, my maximum days spent there is 3! I have a loathe/love relationship with the Big Apple. The constant hustle & bustle just isn’t my scene. The food and shopping is always great. I need to catch a Broadway show one of these days. If you’re a fan of Sex and the City, you would love their bus tour. Going to see the ball drop is a bit overrated but still exhilarating at the same time.

Georgia is another state that I cannot stay for a long period of time. Since a kid, I’ve always visited Georgia because that’s where my familial roots are derived. I have family in almost every city and town. Now when I visit (mainly Atlanta) it’s usually for networking, but I’m gone in almost 2 days. My 2015 birthday in the A was the best visit ever!

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve been to New Orleans, Louisiana but every time that I visit, it feels like home. I’ve been by car, train, plane, bus you name it! Nola is the only place that I’ll eat crawfish as well as beignets. The taste is just authentic here!

2:30 Baby meet by The Bean... Chicago, Illinois was a blur. I always say that I need to give this city another visit because I don’t remember having fun here as everyone make it seem. I enjoyed the Al Capone tour and being able to see their spots such at the Valentines Day Massacre location.

Las Vegas, NV is another home for me. One of my good friends stay out there, so I can always catch a random flight and have the best hospitality ever. I’ve experienced the Grand Canyon and other rocky areas. The mountains are my favorite part of the west.

I’ve experienced most cities on the east coast such as Connecticut, New Jersey, DMV area, Philly (which I do not like), Boston, The Carolinas, etc. I’ve visited the Midwest a few times during random road trips but did not take many pics. When it comes to Texas, I love how Houston is still stuck in the 90's era. I recall pulling a whole 24 hours in Dallas. In the near future, I plan to do a Westside Road Trip and just enjoy the mountainside.

C O L O R A D O: Burrrr... Baby, it's C O L D outside!

Due to the newly implemented COVID-19 Restrictions and the possibility of the world shutting down again, I’ve made the personal decision to put overseas trips on hold. I’ll still visit places within the U.S and document any cool experiences. While on the subject, checkout the Aimless in Arizona blog post just added to the site.
