I’ve been on a few mini trips but was on a slight hiatus from blogging. However, El Salvador was definitely worth the penmanship!

This was a spiritual journey, perfect for connecting with the surroundings and enjoying some of the best adventures this stunning place had to offer. The diverse landscape includes mountains, volcanoes, rainforest with lush waterfalls, and of course beautiful beaches. I was so excited when I saw the the cerulean Pacific Ocean because I immediately knew that the seafood would be bomb! No trip to El Salvador would be complete without indulging in the delicious shrimp, lobster, and mussels that is cooked with savory spices. They did not disappoint at all!
The country is also rich in history and culture, and its people are friendly and welcoming. Travelers can find plenty to see and do in this small country, from exploring the ancient ruins of Maya cities as well as the capital, San Salvador filled with historical landmarks.

El Salvador is the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America. However, every destination is far from each other. A rental car is definitely recommended if you’re trying to explore, but we decided to a driver which lightened the load. I was super car sick and nauseous each trip so I just laid down until we reached our destination.
We went during a time where “Gang Violence” was plastered all over our television back home in the US but felt protected as the country is heavily monitored. Besides, never believe all of the propaganda exploited from the “idiot box” anyway.
