Greece

"We are all Greeks.

Our laws, our literature, our religion, our arts have their root in Greece"

At the time, Corfu was experience a sort of rebellion, so the streets were piled with trash due to lack of workers. The smell took away from the beauty of the city. The tour guide explained that the homes do not have actual addresses. The use of the blue ceilings means "Close to Heaven" as the people of Greece exhibit a deep passion towards their Gods. Traveling to this country made me wish that I had showed more interest in the Greek Gods and Goddess Mythology while in School.

Mykonos was heavenly, but no Greek meats for me. Enjoyed a roasted corn that was better than The Fair. The coffee was also and started my day off right.

In Santorini, we got wasted on the most exquisite winery tour. To get that cool and famous Instagram worthy pic view, we reached the peak of oil on a tour bus. However, the only options to get back to ground level were a donkey, a 1000 step staircase, or a cable car. Most people chose the cable car route, but that was a very chaotic option, being that the line was wrapped almost 4 miles. Honestly, once you've experienced Oia, it's kind of a one-and-done deal. No need to go back, but that's just my opinion.

Athens is still on the bucket list...
