"Guten Morgen." - I greeted with my little knowledge of the Deutsch language I learned while in college. It was 7AM and 47 degrees Fahrenheit in Berlin, Germany. Visiting this place made me regret not going abroad when my college professor asked.

As our tour guide showed us one of the most famous cathedrals in the country, St. Mary's, I intriguingly learned something new with each step throughout the safe haven.

I sipped my German coffee and took an interesting stroll through Gendarmenmarkt. For lunch, I had the most scrumptious steak and pasta hands down! Germany has some of the most beautiful architecture of museums and churches. Surprisingly, you can tour this place solo with minimal help. With the new translation technology, touring will be a breeze.
