Aimless in Arizona

"Adventure is worthwhile in itself..."

Rico: Let’s go to the desert and take some cool pics!

Yaya: Phoenix? đź‘€

Mardi: *Googles Flights* - 2 Hunnad an occasion!

All 3 Simultaneously: BOOKED!

Everyone had their own agenda but it was a totally random road trip at the same time. We literally booked a Jeep two days prior to our departure. We didn’t have any hotel accommodations until we actually landed in Phoenix.

After grabbing some breakfast, all roads led to Sedona. This was a 2-hour drive of just an auric atmosphere of mountains and greenery scenery. It's as if the cloudy skies opened up and you could literally visualize an entry to heaven. Though I enjoyed every moment of the vibes, I became nauseous and car sick due to the incline and curvy roads. Catching the spiritual number of 1:11 while climbing Cathedral Rock was a moment in itself. I stopped at the mid-way point while my friends continued to hike. Those rocks became a little too high and unstable for me Lol... We also went on a mini hike through Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park which is a free exhibit for sacred awakening. As I held a 7-minute meditation, it gave me an instant sense of spiritual renewal. The crystal stores that we discovered (Sacred Elements and Crystal Magic) were phenomenal. We spent almost two hours in each store.

Antelope Canyon is temporarily closed until 2021 without a definite date. A beautiful landmark that I’ve been trying to visit for a while now and can only be conducted with a tour guide. This only means that another visit is in the near future.

While there, Yaya successfully launched her new business venture, Golden Hour Aesthetics. A dedication to VII KING DRE! ♥️ Rico was able to master his photography skills while using some new technology. Optical Waves is continuously providing dope content for the streets. I love being surrounded by great friends. It's good for the soul!

The irony of being in Arizona at the time, is the fact that it was during the presidential election in which this particular state was taking forever to count the votes. It was an uneasy feeling of how people there would react to the outcome, but we were protected throughout the entire trip. In the midst of the election results, there was a tropical storm back home flooding our city, so being in a place of pure serenity and beauty was priceless. ✨🏜✨
